I Miss the Old Kanye

Ye - formerly known as Kanye West, a once-renowned rapper, producer, and fashion designer who has been in the public eye for many years, has made headlines for his far-right commentary. Recently, he made controversial remarks about Jewish people that many individuals and organizations widely criticized. Ye's comments have referenced Jewish stereotypes and conspiracy theories, perpetuating harmful and untrue beliefs about Jewish people. His comments are offensive and dangerous, as they can contribute to the normalization of antisemitism and the further marginalization of Jewish people. 

Ye Has Become Close With Far-right Pundit Tucker Carlson

For Example, in a podcast interview with Joe Rogan, Kanye West made statements that were seen as promoting antisemitic stereotypes. Ye claimed that Jews controlled banks and media outlets, which he believed was responsible for much of the world's problems. These comments perpetuate harmful conspiracies that have been used to justify discrimination and violence against Jewish people throughout history.

It is crucial to recognize how dangerous these kinds of statements can be. Antisemitism is a form of hatred that has led to countless acts of violence and persecution against Jewish people over the centuries. It is unacceptable for anyone with such a large platform as Ye to promote these harmful ideas.

It is disappointing to see someone like Ye, who has spoken out against racism and discrimination in the past, using his platform to perpetuate harmful stereotypes about another marginalized group. It highlights the need for everyone to educate themselves about different forms of bigotry to avoid spreading misinformation and contributing to systemic oppression. 

Ye said it best back in 2016, 

"I miss the old Kanye." 

"I hate the new Kanye."
